Bringing out the good stuff in Second Life®: fashion, hot spots, freebies, etc.

Comprised of four sims owned by Flea Bussy, Grendel’s Children has existed, well, for about as long as I have. It has kept on evolving in the course of those couple of years, and it is one of those awesome places in SL that I have held off blogging about because probably most people have already been there once. But for the sake of the few who may not have, I have decided to revisit it, as well as some other places I once liked, but that’s for later. It is a Fantasy RP sim, but walking around or squatting in the grass is very tolerable, if you don’t mind the dragons, dinosaurs and fauns passing by.

I have used a different Windlight setting in each picture and have not retouched them, only the last one was taken in the Release Candidate viewer with shadows enabled (instructions here and more dramatic shadows here). The Windlight settings I used are from the bunch of extra ones that come with the Emerald client: London 2026, Bristol, Maroon, Shadow1, Verdigris, amongst others, give these effects.
