Yesterday, I came by two little builds by “Cherry branch” owner Sakuramoon Rang and found myself charmed by the simplicity and sobriety of their decor. I liked how they went for an authentically outdated look but stopped short of going overboard grungy, and also avoided the usual clutter of cutesy junk.

Sakuramoon Rang’s home and shop, where unfortunately not everything on display is set for sale but is definitely worth checking out. You’ll land on ground-level, left-click on the magical door twice to be taken 3000m up.
I liked the subtle light and shading on the cupboards, the grain of the wood, and the faint traces of soot on the whitewashed walls. Laugh if you want, but the restrained decoration made looking at the cans of beans an almost poignant experience.
