Oi, Turnip Sorbet makes the cutest stuff ! I already had admired the shop that she built for Julliette Westerburg’s Très Blah mainstore, but I didn’t know that she had her own shop until I saw it participating in last week’s Black Friday event. So I went to Turnip’s Homes and Stuff yesterday, and oh my, have a look here, it’s just clap-your-hands fantastic.

Touching the curtain closes and opens it. Each of the two faucet knobs fills the tub with a different type of bathwater and of course, the shower head works, too. Everything comes scripted chock-full with goodness. 2500L for the tub, sink and toilet together, which can be bought separately too, no mod/no transfer.

Incredible detail on this old-fashioned sink, down to the siphon resting by the faucet. I also love the hand-drawn texturing on the towels. So pretty, and it looks as though it came straight of an illustrated childrens’ book. 250L for the set of towels, no mod/no transfer.

Like everything else in this bathroom set, you can touch each toiletries item to bring up a menu that lets you customise its colour and appearance, and you can control the shininess and brightness via a few command lines. Only 250L for the whole set, no mod/no transfer.

There’s a crochet cloth that looks absolutely amazing, here ! This table comes in two versions, three sizes and is copyable. I counted 34 different wood textures to change the table to, divided in five categories: shabby, stained, driftwood, pastel and bright. 250L, no transfer.

The shoeshiner’s house is adorable, with its stained wallpapers and unique, fitted textures. The wear and tear on the walls is amazingly done, and has a very soft, realistic look. The house counts two entrances, a main medium room, two tiny ones and an attic accessible via a ladder that comes up or down when you touch it. And you also open the trapdoor by touching a piece of string hanging down from it, how cute is that ! It’s all so cosy, one immediately wants to settle down after the first walking tour inside and I think it’s the best quaint little house that I have seen to date ! 1500L, no transfer.

I have to start incorporating “clap-your-hands fantastic” into my everyday vocabulary. That’s my phrase of the week.
Delighted as always to know I can be a positive influence. :D
