I’ve been anticipating the Melt installation since it was casually announced by Radio Signals a couple of weeks ago and the few sneak peeks that have leaked in the past hours have not let me down, quite the opposite !
First glimpsed was Apatia Hammerer’s ball gown, and, here, doesn’t she look just the thing in it ? Inimitable she is ! But I tried to wear it, still. Then, I also saw what Emma Gilmour had done and that got me really jumping up and down with anticipation. Money you can wear ! I love it, worn with its own hairstyle or as a standalone accessory, it is never going to leave my inventory, ever. The bills are excellently sculpted, and as a whole, the money blindfold is, well, just remarkable ! Plus, I thought it paired really well with the pocket watch from Lark. But, enough babbling ! On with some pictures.

“This project is a study of translations. I presented 25 artists within Second Life with a concept of creating art with these words in mind: Drowning. Melting. Polar bears. Arctic. Culpability. Corporate greed. Inevitability. Extinction.” – Radio Signals
Thank you very much to Radio and the designers !

Very creative photo set. I enjoyed them.
Lovely canvases, do share your technique ;)
Its very pretty.
Thank you !
And, not much technique involved, Pips. I opened my textures folder, picked the first one that caught my eye, overlaid it, and voilà ! Instant… artsiness or whatever you’d call what this is. ;)
Lovely photos, Lili. I enjoyed them as well.
your pictures never fail to make me smile.
