Though I just have one item on at the moment, there are a lot of great deals under 70L at The Dressing Room this week-end. Not to be missed !

Also love these boots just released at Mayden Couture. I did not see any demos at the store which startled me but for 290L, I grabbed a pair or two anyway. They come with a separate invisiprim but don’t have an alpha layer, which was a bummer to wear with the pants attachments. Thankfully the shoes and invisiprims were both modifiable, something really rare for shoes, and I was able to link both elements together to use up only one attachment point, but I wouldn’t want to do that for every colour I got. I’d really hoped these came with an alpha layer especially as I just found out you can’t just create one of your own and customise how far the alpha layer will hide your leg by just pushing a slider in the appearance menu, as I initially thought, you actually have to create a texture in PS and whatnot. Weren’t these alpha layers supposed to make our SLives easier ?! Complicated, hello ! Also I should point out that the tinting menu for the toes is kind of limited and only offers a selection of tones that you can’t tweak further. I was not able to match my tone very well as it wouldn’t go very pale. But the toes do look really good ! And I don’t actually mind any of that too much anyway because I reaaally like the design of these low, wide ankle boots, and their execution as well. So, happy with these, despite the whinging.
