Bringing out the good stuff in Second Life®: fashion, hot spots, freebies, etc.

Oops, I should probably be busy working on things of my own right now, but I had to take a moment to make a quick post about this store I just stumbled on today, [mdrm]. I don’t know how I’d never seen it before, but this furniture by naonao2 Ellils is super, super low-prim and also well-done. You rarely see stuff that low-prim and baked, too. Some items made me think of Rachel Breaker builds, only with a more real-life, vintage aesthetic and textured accordingly.

The whole chimney setup at the top is 10 prims, and was a recent group gift.

New stuff coming at Kari ! Long, long promised, it’s all cute, fun and really well done. Starting with the specs which are colour-change and which I loved, though perhaps I did regret a little the absence of brown as one of the colour options. But they’re definitely going to be my new favourite geeky glasses. Next up is the wristwatch, of which I didn’t take a close enough picture, but it looks really good up close. Among my other instant favourites were the newstand and the robots. One of them speaks French and I had to laugh when I first heard its love declarations. Last month I indulged in one of the most recent skins from LeLutka for my alt, which I had been coveting quite a bit, wearing the demo around for a week. And when I went to buy it, I was rather glad it was only 900L, a fairly reasonable price for a LeLutka skin. I think I’m taken with the lips the most, but more generally I find I’m very pleased with the pure, softly feminine look of the face.

This is a post I quickly put together on an impulse following the release of this attic skybox from Reek just today for FLF (it might already be gone, at least at that price already). Fourty-four prims in all and modifiable, it’s going to be my new hideout for now !

Now five shots of the same thing, that’s really a vanity post, I suppose, but various elements in this outfit really pleased me and it seemed to just about look good in every angle. Yep ! Also, Lamb hairstyles like this, close around the face, usually don’t fit my wide face, but surprisingly this one did, and I’m glad I went to try it out for it completed nicely the look I guess I was going for. And it’s really, really quite lovely.
