This look is a lot dressier than what I’m used to, but wouldn’t you believe it, a lot in this look came free: from the sunglasses, to the scarf, coat, pants and shoes. I showed the shades here already last week and this great scarf, a favourite of mine, has been a gift at Mr. Poet for quite a while now, but you will have to hurry for the rest of the outfit: they’re part of a gift from LeLutka for Halloween only and will be gone by the end of the day.

I wasn’t planning to really buy anything much for myself at the Armidi sale, but browsing the website I spotted a few things that Arthur might like, so here goes ! Didn’t have to brave any lag, just used my main Armidi account and gifted my guy alt what I wanted at half the regular price, and it was a breeze. Still stayed frugal, the cardigan was just 68L !

Plus, I got these new flip-flops from sey at a discount, too. They come with a texture-change HUD for the sandal parts, nails and skin tone, and if you join the store group, you can buy them 50% off !

I’m loving these things from nyagos Kidd’s shop, Node. The perms on them are a bit erratic, probably due to the scripts put in them, so a lot of things are no copy AND no transfer.

The pig avatars mostly consist of a head and tail, with a pinkish human skin and a fatty male shape. Each comes with an accompanying hoodie of a different colour, and the head has an optional attachment specific to the type of pig (toast, leafy sprig or cigar) and has ears scripted to move. Other clothing is not included.

The umbrella costs 550L and each one includes a set of 5 textures; you can close it an open it, and it even provides you with your own personal rain (with sounds). Great for mood, I seriously love walking around like this. I think perhaps I’d rather it cost less, though, and you could buy just the one umbrella with the texture you really want.

The classroom furniture costs 1200L but it looks to have various elements you can combine, and they ARE copyable, as is the chalkboard, sold separately. You can also buy a desk or chair there that you can hurl, “Battle Royale” style.

PS. I don’t usually give treatment to pictures of furniture and avatars but exceptionally I did here, it goes well with polaroids…

I must have had a lapse of attention somewhere at some point because this new mens release that recently came out at LeLutka had not registered on my radar until the Eron skin was sent over to me the other day. Well, I’m very glad that it was ! So, a little bit afterwards, I went to the store and picked another tone for myself. I’m definitely feeling this skin and think I might very well make it my regular one for the time being. For starters, it’s right in the age bracket I like. The lips feel fresh and have the fullness of youth, but the eyes already betray countless sleepless hours (spent in front of a computer, maybe). And, I think I am quite close to completing my ideal look of an athletic, but unassuming boyish geek.

2REAL Okelli is a new player who presented me with these sneakers today, and they got me immediately excited ! They’re awesome of realism and I love the late 80′s, early 90′s prints on the back of the shoes. There are ten different models to choose from and they’re scripted with a resizer. An eleventh pair is available that lets you tint the parts with a rudimentary HUD (no choice of prints, though). These are, I presume, 2REAL’s first creations in SL, and I look forward to seeing more ! For now, you can check out these babies here.

Photosourced, and looking more mature than Ander and Gael, I think it’ll appeal very well to the men who aspire to a regular guy look. Between the plethora of photoreal, über-male skins, with their perfect model faces, and the niche of either fun or emo hand-drawn skins, which look great on those that I see wearing them but are just not for me, Daniel is perhaps the first skin that I find to be realistic while still allowing me to feel normal, too. Handsome, but no longer a hunk, at last! Which, believe me, is beyond ridiculous when everyone is one on SL.
