Bringing out the good stuff in Second Life®: fashion, hot spots, freebies, etc.

My apologies for making another Christmas post so soon, but I found more goodies already ! First, these from Aria. They also have a couple more different trees at the moment, and snow bears, and holiday foods. Also looks like the Christmas corner is still in the process of being filled, so there could be more later.

All these items cost 30L a pop, come from three different shops (Nonino, Clematis and Zacca), and can be obtained from two gacha gacha dispensers located at the PERTURB/nation mainstore. There’s many more to get, but these were the ones I absolutely wanted. One of them is a skybox with some really darling textures, and the holly comes animated with poses for two people to kiss.

Also, The Loft just released this beautiful new Christmas corner. Most of all I loved the baby blue chair, which I look forward to using all year around. Thank you, Colleen !

I thought I was done with the Christmas posts, but I stumbled upon these adorable little snowmen at rez today, and they cost only 1L each and they are copy/mod, so I had to make another post ! It seems like there’s new baked goodness to discover everyday now, yay ! The lamp on the left doesn’t really have anything to do with Christmas, but I thought it looked really nice. Yes, it’s a hanging lamp with a long cord for your ceiling, and it’s covered with a white piece of cloth. Is that what they do in Japan or something ? I’d love to know ! I just found these decorative sculpted socks at Scribble. You can buy your sock empty (150L) or stuffed (495L); the latter comes loaded with 800L worth of Scribble products. I don’t really know what’s in them, as I just took a picture of the store display. Scribble is a nice brand, though, so it should be good, and the socks are transferable, so they can be a great last minute gift ! Radio Signals also has some other nice holiday things: sculpted string lights that blink, snowballs you can throw, a reindeer, etc… Also, they’re having a winter sale, and everything that is white is discounted at the store. Also, I finally went to the Albero plant and garden festival and had a quick browse, from which I returned with this awesome illuminated tree by vitrail Illios, which changes to four colours in alternance. It’s 190L for the no copy version, and you can check it out at their wonderful little display here. These are 2-prim tiny little trees by Tuki Loon from DownDownDown, for those who may not be too big on Christmas, and who will care only just enough for a little touch of it in their home, and they can be gotten there at Albero too.

Spotted this adorable new top in the works by Julliette Westerburg and had to have it! It will become available at the mainstore during this week-end as a limited edition in green, as part of the new StumbleBum Brigade weekly event, and then later in regular colours. Also, recently released is this super cute dress, which comes in many colours and versions, at MNK !

Recently released at Botanical is this set of gorgeous maple trees. I had to grab me some even though I don’t even really like snow that much on SL !

Also from Botanical, these firs come in several sizes and here are the small ones. They can be bare or decorated with lights, and as usual, can be purchased copyable or transferable. The small no-copy holiday green fir is only 50L !

And just in case anyone would have missed it, here’s the snowy cottage from Reek ! Beautiful baked lights inside, a must-see. Also Riq Graves has put out vendors with a very convenient gifting system for all his great creations just outside.

Ok, now what’s missing here is an awesome, ridable sled, which I might add some day if I find one.

Here are a few great additions to follow my previous Christmas stuff post !

Super realistic and beautifully lit decorations from “The Loft” creator Colleen Desmoulins, there’s also an equally beautiful set of a dining table and chairs there that is a must-see! The sock is copiable and is free! Everything else is very cheap, starting at 50L, and is no mod/no copy.

Ravyn Hynes from Mudhoney just released this very fine holiday dinner table. The entire set costs 1,550L and can be bought either copyable or transferable, but also each item can be bought separately as well. The seats come with eating animations, and I found everything to be beautifully lit and textured!

Minke Bailey has a whole selection of christmassy stuff to pick from at MB Creations and here was my favourite item. It’s copyable and 375L, if I remember. Oh, and they have a pick reward and a group gift too there, that is like a tree and two christmas gift boxes with poses.

Oi, Turnip Sorbet makes the cutest stuff ! I already had admired the shop that she built for Julliette Westerburg’s Très Blah mainstore, but I didn’t know that she had her own shop until I saw it participating in last week’s Black Friday event. So I went to Turnip’s Homes and Stuff yesterday, and oh my, have a look here, it’s just clap-your-hands fantastic.

Touching the curtain closes and opens it. Each of the two faucet knobs fills the tub with a different type of bathwater and of course, the shower head works, too. Everything comes scripted chock-full with goodness. 2500L for the tub, sink and toilet together, which can be bought separately too, no mod/no transfer.
