I got super excited today when I saw that Mallory had updated the Lacie skin from her Portrait line (these are the skins she started her RaC brand with). I wore the older Lacie skin and no other for about six months straight last year, and I really loved its intense eyes and sweet birdy lips. The new version is super detailed, higher resolution, and features very realistic lips and a new more defined nose that is still incredibly sweet and delicate. This time, Lacie comes in 8 make-ups, 4 tones, has only dark brown eyebrows, but offers a hairbase option. See for yourself at Laqroki !
The first Designers United event organised by Lu Waffle and Nil Giha launched just today, and will last 10 days, featuring various fashionable items designed around the theme of the jellyfish by the likes of creators from This is a Fawn, Sugarcube, Niniko, Glow Studio, Twee, Ohmai, Waffle, etc. Those are exclusive creations and will only be available for purchase during this time!
There is a lot to see, and some pieces are pretty amazing. Most of all, I was completely taken with the hat that Apatia Hammerer made, under her Pig brand, which I’ve been wearing since yesterday and will likely continue to wear for some time. It’s just hilarious and awesome to have on. I already liked the idea of this bi-monthly event from Nil and Lu, but now I’m psyched it happened just so this hat would be made. There are also some really lovely dresses, three of which I chose to wear here, but there’s more, some jewelry from LaGyo and Shade Throne, and two very sweet skins from JM:MAI that I thought complemented the outfits I wore very well.

Note, the pose that comes with the bag is not the same as pictured here, but the bag’s modifiable and is only 10L. Also everything is currently 100L at DIVERSITY HAIR, so you can get any style in packs of 4 or 5 shades, including one that mixes blonde, dark and red together.
I finally went to Wasted Youth today and got some pieces. It’s a little rough around the edges, literally — you’ll see what I mean if you get the strapless mini skirt dress, which I don’t advise — but shows promise, with some funky, photosourced clothing, much like Emery. Also, avoid the black version of this blazer. I really would have loved to wear it, except that the attachments are simply textured blank and then tinted black. Otherwise, I liked everything else I got from there. Will keep checking on their future releases!
