Three faces were released today by BluAbyss Denimore at the reopening of Vivé9, and here’s my very favourite: Miranda, shown in coffee and tea (there’s also one paler tone, glow). They all come in a variety of make-ups, with or without a hairbase.

I found Miranda’s face flawless and so perfect for photography, that I went a little nuts with the close-ups. There’s something both sweet and spicy about her that totally make her charm.

I made these photos with all 10 scarves from The Dogs for JDDM and though I may still need a little work, I found me so cute, I had to post them here. My wardrobe is a bit limited for now, but watch out (just don’t hold your breath).

LeLutka released 8 hairstyles and 2 bangs today. I’m showing 4 styles, from to bottom, Jacqueline, Brigitta, Sophie and Tallulah, combining only the last 3 with the Wet bangs. Brigitta caught my eye first with its 60′s feel, and I love the way it demurely frames the face. Along with Sophie, it makes me think of “Love Story” ! My other favourite is Jacqueline, and should be a crowd pleaser, I think. You will find all these and more here.

Also I’m wearing the Elemental skin from Domestic V. It cost me 50L the other day, which was a special price meant to last 6 hours, but as usual with Mairead Broek, sale prices usually last… way longer. There are three more skins at 100L right next to it. Anyway, I really love the new lips on these skins, their soft curving shape… There’s been talk of Mairead selling her brand (unless I vastly misunderstood the brief chat I had with her the other night), I hope she doesn’t. Just go buy her stuff and make her feel loved!

A lot of new releases here, today! Starting with this clingy button up shirt new from Pig. I just grabbed the free sample in green that was put out as a prize at the Wonderland hunt, here, but it is available in just about a zillion colours. This hair from Waffles is an exclusive (soon?) to be released at LE.LOOK, and I absolutely adore this style with its loose gathering to the side and its casual arrangement of tendrils. Love the hair texture too!  Also, some new boots from HOC ! Amazingly priced as usual, 40L, they’re menu scripted so that you can change the color of the suede or of the buckles. Also just now hot off the press at The Dogs, this fringed scarf is joining JDDM Catteneo’s Hedi line and comes in 10 different colours and prints; it is shown here in solid pink and stripey brown. I love its design with the super long spare fringes to the side. This one is going to be a keeper, and I think I’ll be wearing it all week. Finally, just released at Kalnins, these summery cork wedges, another piece of flawless work from Maris Kanto. As with everything coming out of Kalnins, expect a well-finished product, and a polished menu with which to customise the skintone of your feet and the colours of the various elements in these shoes.

… and Cashmere is back ! Some time ago, maybe a month, I had been pretty confounded to hear that someone who was looking for Gianni Broda’s shop had found the plot empty. Quite by chance today while dropping by my friend Vee’s stream shop that is on the same sim, I found out that she was back in SL and about to reopen it shortly.

Cashmere has been the first brand in SL that I have known to offer fashion that was both fun and couture, skanky crazy while yet appealing to my taste; it has been the only such one to me for a long time and might still be.

Its playful spirit shows even just in the flexible and sensible layering of each garment; now, granted, you don’t get a zillion layers of everything but at least you can mix it all together with ease, which a while back, was not to be taken for granted with every designer.

Now that the shop has returned, I shall hope for more new fun stuff to come out of it. With Ms. Broda being absent some seven months, there hadn’t been much new in a while, but her creations still feel fresh, and here I have whipped out some of my favourites out of my wardrobe.

The sale going on right now at Thimbles is just irresistible. Not only is the basement chock-full of some of my favourite items discounted at 25L and under (alot of them at 5L even), but I found in the upper floors some garments that I had missed, such as this dress or some plaid shorts that I loved.

Then today I saw this skin and it had me rushing to Atomic to check it out. I love the red lips! It’s called Faith, there is I think about 6 tones to choose from, and 3 make-ups (bare, nude gloss and smeared red gloss), and a freckled or non-freckled option. Can’t tell you much about the body, I haven’t looked at it, but I assume it must be fine.

Also, everything at Cherry is 50L until the 17th. It’s the shoes and accessories outlet, part of London Dailey’s House of London emporium. I went there and picked a few of these pumps. I have a lot of the ballets and some of the boots already but had never gotten the pumps since I have so many from Juicy and Maitreya, but now I had no reason not to get some, and now that I have them on I think they’re like an almost perfect compromise between the Juicy pumps and the Maitreya Slinkys.

Aaaand there has been a release of two hairs at Mirone, Faye having been my favourite one, shown in the middle.
