I love this pleated skirt from the new shop Tokidoki. Notice it’s not made of prims ! It’s sculpts. The skirt is part of a dress, so it has a baked-on shadow from the top that goes with it (not worn here). An alternative version of it without that shadow would be nice so the skirt can be worn more easily with other things. Tokidoki’s a small shop yet, run by four months old avatar Maya Levane, but it has already a collection of well made articles, including this cute owl handbag.

A little preview of what’s to come at the fourth session of Designers United, which will kick off on September 4th, with Narcissus as the theme. The skins from Très Blah are gorgeous, and I’m featuring here also hats from tram and Picnic, earrings from Whippet & Buck, an awesome dress from &bean and part of the rope outfit from RunoRuno. Off The Wall

I think it’s still in the works but it’s far along enough that I felt prompted to snap some pictures of Rachel Breaker‘s new sim, Off The Wall. And to quote her, it’s really off the wall ! I always thought if Rachel had a sim of her own that she could do something magical, and fun, fun, fun. And so it is !

Be sure to play the music stream for full effect.

Update. A secret treasure hunt kicked off at Off the Wall. You have first to meet and trade items between various 2D characters scribbled in black and white that are scattered throughout the sim till you receive a pair of contact lenses, then you go back to Draximums Draximums, so he will swap you them for a shovel. With that shovel, dig around and find keys that will open treasure chests ! Click on this board for more detailed instructions and tips !

These platform pumps newly released by Gos at Shoe Fair are, as is to be expected from this brand, thoroughly scripted to let you customise every part of the shoe, giving you a choice of two colours (black and red) and several metals for the buckles. I also like that instead of having a separate pair with built-in invisiprim, you only get one pair of shoes where the invisiprims can be turned off from the on-touch menu (it’s in the extras). All around well-thought out, and superbly sculpted shoes !

A bunch of new stuffs here ! Starting with these incredible shoes from Magnifico available at Shoe Fair. I love the design and make of these very original wooden platforms. Now although I’ll admit I’m not very adept at matching skin tones to begin with, I happened to think the tinting HUD was perhaps a little limited in that it didn’t offer too many presets. Also, an alpha layer with these would have been welcome, but I managed to use one that came from another designer to use instead of the invisiprims that came separately*. Also, I wish resizing might have been part of the features included with these shoes as I would have liked to resize them to fit my avatar better. Just little things, but other than that I had to present these because they were one of the most original designs that came to my attention at the Shoe Fair.

Also, and this will come as no surprise, I got me one of the new Très Blah skins. These are probably going to blog themselves over the next few days. If you’re more into darker skins, there’s now a fourth tone, really dark, that was added to the collection. Each skin comes with several colours of eyebrows and the freckles come on an additional tattoo layer. The skins are also very affordable at 600L a pop and 4000L for a fatpack of 10 make-up options ! Oh and at the store you’ll also find eyes and nail polish ! Twenty colours for just 75L.

And finally, these are the ultimate peacock feather earrings, not only for being deliciously oversized but for also being entirely sculpted. So, no alpha flickering issues with hair !
