More fun free AOs from Kuso ! Only two days left to grab them up.
Please excuse the stupid HUDs on my screen, I wish there was a shortkey to hide those when filming with the UI off.

An ever-expanding directory of quality content in Second Life, for the Tasteful Shopper. We cover fashion, places to explore, avatars, furniture & prefabs, and other neat things to have or see, pretty much since the day before yesterday. All on the fly!

Today featuring a very luxurious item by Brookston Holiday, the Sports Cruiser. The craftmanship here is beyond remarkable, and for all that you get, from an equipped kitchen to a spacious double sitting area as well as some cosily ensconced sleeping quarters, 3000L is a pretty affordable price tag. I think the pictures speak for themselves, but for a closer look, you can see the demo at HOLIDAYS MODERN YACHTS. Stunning work !

Chair, butterflies rezzer, crayons, paintbrushes and other goofy stuff by Clementine Whitt at *bcbc*. There’s even a free crayon, paintbrush and clown paddler* in the back corner of the shop, too. Unfortunately, the chair doesn’t seem to be up for sale, but the rest is, and there’s more !

*VOONER*, the awesome fun shop, has a gatcha gatcha dispenser with a bunch of beach toys. Come on check out ! It’s 79L per item.

I missed out on this when there was a lucky board for the bike in orange, but I can’t resist posting it because of how easy it is on the eye, and I can’t resist a good-looking picture. By sTwo Acker, at [s2].

Dive tube & Ninja kite. From sTwo. You walk around with the tube, but start floating when you enter Linden waters. It’s 20L only and has several prints. The kite was similarly priced.
Parachute. A super sweet group gift from -RC- Cluster, by Redd Columbia. It gently bobs as you wear it.
BMX. From Smersh. This bike is simply irresistible ! Even if I forget to wear the pedals sometimes.
Headsack. From Ben’s morgue. In case you ever need to, you know, wrap your head in burlap and also would like to have it tied well and secure with a rope. Featuring Benjamin wearing it himself !

Action is a long established surf/skate store, complete with clothing to outfit you and sporting equipment to entertain you. In this post I just wanted to show you some of their sports gear. I found the jet ski and surf board very well sculpted, and they, as well as the skates and bikes too come with many skin options to choose from. I loved particularly the board strapped on the backpack, which is already a new favourite accessory of mine !

The surf boards require the use of the Action Wave system, which can be purchased at the store. If you don’t have it, this beach here has one where you can rezz your own board.

On another note, last night, I was amongst the lucky ones to get Rachel Breaker’s new thing, the sousaPHONE. I never know from the name what it’s going to be, even though sousaphone turns out to be an actual word, d’oh, but I always pull whatever it is she made out of my inventory with anticipation. This tuba actually made me happy all evening, as I stood behind friends, oblivious to their existence, typing away in another window, all the while pulling the most pitiful sounds out of this thing without respite, without anybody complaining ! I love to know that I’m being annoying but getting away with it. In fact, I’m going to go after people with this all week-end.
I LOVE YOU, RACHEL BREAKER !*
You make SL so much more awesome.
* That is how you should greet her whenever you see her.
** Grimaces are not included.

More full perm goodness from xstreet. This time from Marley Blogfan. I think high quality full perm kits are really great for personal projects or to craft gifts you can customise with your own textures, to give something a little more special to a friend. I always feel trivial and ambivalent about giving something that is store-bought, but on the other hand, one doesn’t always have the skills to do something as nice, so having something you can transform before giving it away is a nice compromise.

I was vaguely pruning my objects folder when I unpacked the Valentine’s Day gift from New Trails and thought it was really so cute. Love shrooms ! It was sent by their subscrib-o-matic which should be somewhere at the shop.

Also, while cutting out my pictures, I kept wondering why I was doing my collage that way which is not how I usually do it, when I remembered once I’d finished that I’d seen this earlier. ❤
