I started making a skybox this week-end and I got a little carried away decorating it. My arm hurts from putting in the credits, I’m brain-dead and I wanna go play now, so just look at the pictures, m’kay ?

These afros from DUBOO come in 7 different versions, each one more cute than the others, and this was my favourite. Also, they are for Project Themeory, so unless I’m wrong, they cost 75L only ! They should be out next Saturday, and the theme will be, I believe, DISCO !

Lainy Voom, also known as Pandora Popstar, filmed a cute short video displaying furniture made by herself on her alter ego. Looksie, plucked from her blog, it’s extraordinary ! I would like this to last a whooooole hour…

Hair Fair opens tonight at midnight sometime tomorrow ! With the creation of the “Hair Fair DEMO Group” that you can join to grab demos and try in the peace of your own home, this year’s fair promises to be gentler on you, lag-wise, than probably last year was. You should even be able to get your hands on a notecard somewhere with all the landmarks to each booth; and to help even more, I hear teleporting “anywhere” has been enabled on all the sims. I’ve not myself been to the fair yet, but here are some pictures of my favourite hairstyles so far.

This second post features more creations from Designers United 4 and is dedicated to the Home & Décor items I was able to spot ! I will add the slurl to the actual location into my posts closer to the time of the official opening, tomorrow. All of these items are exclusive and will not be sold again after the event ends.

I love this pleated skirt from the new shop Tokidoki. Notice it’s not made of prims ! It’s sculpts. The skirt is part of a dress, so it has a baked-on shadow from the top that goes with it (not worn here). An alternative version of it without that shadow would be nice so the skirt can be worn more easily with other things. Tokidoki’s a small shop yet, run by four months old avatar Maya Levane, but it has already a collection of well made articles, including this cute owl handbag.

A little preview of what’s to come at the fourth session of Designers United, which will kick off on September 4th, with Narcissus as the theme. The skins from Très Blah are gorgeous, and I’m featuring here also hats from tram and Picnic, earrings from Whippet & Buck, an awesome dress from &bean and part of the rope outfit from RunoRuno. For more sneak peeks, check out on The Young Urban. Olivia Connaught has beautifully photographed some of the many dresses that have been made exclusively for the event along with Hallie Galli. See also Nana Minuet’s blog (1, 2, and 3).
