Music is the victim

Yesterday Vintage McMillan put on the most fabulous and engaging fashion show performance I have seen on SL. The collection was presented in numerous parts, each set to music — Lady Gaga all the way, of course — along with minutely choreographed dancing and stage installations. Beyond the fashion, I was most impressed with the all the fun, but also the hard work and coordination that went into the performance as I watched it unfurl flawlessly, for a solid straight two hours, mind !

The closest thing to a real life concert show made in SL, I enjoyed every minute of it, and so here are 6 and a half of them I threw together in a machinima. I think there was something sweetly eccentric about putting all this together for an audience of about 10 people, as I only started filming on the spur of the moment and there had been no prior plans to record this at all. But, here goes ! And, watch out for the upcoming Epoque collection to be released sometime next week.

House & Garden Hunt

Behind me and to my… right, is Kyoot’s Fifty Linden Friday’s adorable offering, the Silhouette Photo Tree, out today at Saeya Nyanda’s Home outlet ! Only a few hours left to pick it up for only 50L. In the middle, I’m sitting on a bench I made that will be a Home & Garden Hunt gift at my mainstore come August 1st, just a day away ! Nothing too fancy, just a bench I’d always been wanting to make.

As it happens, LeLutka is part of Fifty Linden Friday this week and is offering this amazing deal: a skin in one make-up, coming in four tones with dark and light eyebrows, a hair base option as well as cleavage enhancers on clothing layers and some lashes. And doubly in luck for me because on first try it seemed like it was fitting me like a glove, a rare occurrence between LeLutka and me. I also love the naked lips and subtle eye shadow.
