So Long, Farewell.

I’ve come to a decision this week and believe me, it’s not a decision I’ve made lightly.

And the decision is this: there will be no further posts on (ir)regular guy for the foreseeable future. The way things stand at the moment there’s a possibility I may never post here ever again.

However, I have spent far too much time and hard work on this blog over the last year and a half to let it go. It’s mine. I’m proud of it. And so it will remain here.

But for now, thank you to everyone who has read these pages and commented and been supportive.

Hair Fair 2010

Long gone is my ability to write blogs in ways which are both cohesive and interesting to read – however, I just wanted to share this as a reminder to anyone that might still check this blog:

Hair Fair 2010

For those of you that do not know, a ton of work goes into Hair Fair.  Preparations start early in the year and can take months and months - it’s not easy organizing as many creators as Hair Fair brings together every year.  This is without a doubt my favorite time every year in Second Life  – I am always humbled to see the great creative minds of Second Life coming together to donate their time, creativity, and ultimately money to show the world that the Second Life Community is more than just a glorified cybersex chatroom.  Hair Fair 2010 is upon us!  For anyone who may still be reading this, I hope to see you there to support your favorite Second Life coiffures and a truly amazing charity.  And who knows, maybe you’ll discover a few new ones in the bunch this year?

bubz and i kindda did a bit of the zombie popcorn hunt yesterday before it finished (we are obviously behind on hunts), and stopped in rotten toe for the awesome little dress that was out for the hunt and my bubitos spotted this top! i instantly fell in love. its frilly and girlish but still pretty hot, if you ask me. and it has a fabulous price! i was surprised by how much the shop had changed since the last time nats and i had visited! we had a bit of a sl hiatus there for a bit but its pretty exciting to have my shopping partner back in action, although not always good for the wallet! yay for shoppins!

also, if ever looking for very well made, girly and well priced items, make sure to stop by oyakin. about a year ago i bumped into the shop and it was instant love! with the frill of the top i thought the sheerness and flow of the skirt would be a nice addition to the look.

normally i go for a lot of color in my clothing but after my last look i thought a more princess feel would be nice, of course spicing it up with the peacock earring from fore that i am having problems taking off!

Fly Back

Writing this blog post feels like slipping into the lake after a long, sweaty exercise regimen. It’s lovely to be back using the snapshot button in SL! I wasn’t gone as long as I expected, which is a relief.

I hope I can find plenty of inspiring things to fuel my fashion fervor. I need to be watching my pennies, so I might not flash many expensive new releases, but I couldn’t be more thrilled to be fretting over correct landmarks and hair in my shoulder.
