Loving some of the new hairstyles from LeLutka ! SO lush.

Along with Fashionably Dead and Très Blah, the Nylon Outfitters skins are possibly the only completely hand drawn skins that I’m aware of on the grid; also perhaps a little more than the two others, they might be more of an acquired taste to some, initially. Once I’d finished taking these pictures, though, I was feeling really at home in them and started to look forward to hopping off the stand and go about in them. Also, I tend to be a lot more inspired creating looks around fun skins than realistic ones; working harder at doing something *I* like, and so I end up liking them more and keeping them on longer afterward. And I’m really enjoying what I ended up with here !

Here I’m wearing six of the nine make-up options available in the Honey Beige tone, with Glow Studio eyelashes and an eyeliner tattoo. My favourites are Nude and Smokey, but Icecream and Buttercup are fun, and I like the serious look of Cherry Lip.

I went blonde again for two of the latest hairstyles released at LeLutka, Addison and Rain. The textures on these are great, with the roots especially. I might have preferred to get my usual brown packs but I don’t think you could see a colour variation as much on there. I might still get the browns for later; I love the airy flow on the sculpt work. And then I also went back to a sweet look with Dutch Touch‘s Mensje.

Now five shots of the same thing, that’s really a vanity post, I suppose, but various elements in this outfit really pleased me and it seemed to just about look good in every angle. Yep ! Also, Lamb hairstyles like this, close around the face, usually don’t fit my wide face, but surprisingly this one did, and I’m glad I went to try it out for it completed nicely the look I guess I was going for. And it’s really, really quite lovely.

I had been looking for quite a while for a replacement to the once popular, but now outdated, turtlenecks from SHOP SEU, and I think ARAI just came out with them ! Just three basic colours: beige, grey and black. Simple and casually chic, I like that they can be worn without some of the attachments and it’ll still look right.

I modified this new fur jacket from Mimikri just a bit so I could wear just the front parts as a sort of fur stole instead — the jacket is not modifiable so it took quite a bit of repetitive clicking around the resizing menu, but it worked fine.

Still thinking it over but the more I look at these pumps, the more I think they’re all kinds of hot. I’m just really all over the gorgeous textures on these. Also loving the new things from Theosophy, especially the adorable lattes and rings !

This look is a lot dressier than what I’m used to, but wouldn’t you believe it, a lot in this look came free: from the sunglasses, to the scarf, coat, pants and shoes. I showed the shades here already last week and this great scarf, a favourite of mine, has been a gift at Mr. Poet for quite a while now, but you will have to hurry for the rest of the outfit: they’re part of a gift from LeLutka for Halloween only and will be gone by the end of the day.

I just bought a fatpack of shoes for the first time in years, that’s how good these gorgeous new maryjanes from Shiny Things are ! Perfect for me with their vintage, sturdy style, and perfect in the way they’re made. I’ve noticed there are a number of shoes around that will look amazing when viewed from the side only or when they’re just rezzed on the ground, but which, when worn, are a total let down. Not the case with these ! To me the real test of a well-made shoe is when I’m perfected pleased to look at myself from the front, which is how I’ll be viewing my avatar 90% of the time, and these Kelseys are A+ from all angles !

I just wish the pack had included an olive colour, a must-have for me, and also as I thought that it might have gone well with these chocolate pants. Note also, there is currently a free pair of one of the other releases set as a group gift at the store, in gold as seen above.

Oh, and I love this super sassy hairstyle from a store that I don’t think I’d heard of before, YunA’s Hair. It’s only 100L for a colour pack — cheap ! — but the hairs aren’t modifiable, which is always a little annoying.

The bag and pants are from The Secret Store, which is new to me as well. I found the attachments on the pants to be oddly darker than the pants themselves, but luckily the pants layer was modifiable so I was able to just tint that a just a little bit darker to match. And they go very well with this top taken from the cina ruffled dress recently released at u.f.o. !

PS. A little tip: upload your animations as priority 4 when you make a custom AO for a bag (so long as it only rigs the hand or arm of the avatar), so that you can keep on holding your bag when walking around. It’s much nicer that way !
