Face au vent

Cute lil’ Manatee McMillan of [twee] is opening a new store, Narwhal, with a selection of seperates and outfits to play with. She plans on releasing one to two outfits per week, so join her group to keep up to date! It’s crazy cheap there and a lot of fun to wear.

Inflatable

inflatableWhen I last went to Curio Obscura for the Ghostly Lady, I found this new avatar that I hadn’t been aware of before. The Inflatable Woman is absolutely fun and awesome. She comes with three skirt options, two hairs, and you can customise the colours of every element via touch menu, as well as her facial expressions. She also squeaks when walking or moving, can be deflated or inflated and has different walking animations for either state. There’s also a ‘huggable’ feature, but I haven’t figured it out, so I don’t know.

Anyway, it’s really, really fun to wear and walk around in, and a new favourite!

Jigoku

jigokuBuddhist hell of epic proportions. Probably well-known to many by now, but I’m listing it for those who may not have seen it. I don’t know many fun places like that around. Not very interactive, but still fun.

Rawr.

shinyarmorSimply put, this shiny knight armor is teh sex? I feel both silly wearing it, and heroic for wearing it. And that’s utterly titillating! I waited two months before getting it because it’s a little pricey but, oh, it’s totally worth every penny. And I would have liked to show the male version as well, though it’s not by any means dramatically different, but, well. You can check for yourself though, here on xstreet or in-world where you can see the armor on a demo bot.

My few only gripes are, the armor itself is excellent, one of the best crafted avatars I have seen to this day, but the belt, sheath and sword, well, you wouldn’t believe they were made by the same person. And you should be able to click on the sheath to switch the sword’s position from it to the hand, and back. Also, it would be nice for this to come with a basic AO HUD or an indication of where to possibly find some knight animations. I made do with a cheap set by Jackie Jetcity I already had, which is meant to use with a baton, martial arts style. Also, rust and clinking noises as you walk?

The barrel of fun

… a.k.a. Slacro, is a word-based simple game that was scripted by Giuseppe Spicoli. Simply click on the barrel to participate, and as it gives out a string of random letters, compete to make up the funniest, wittiest sentence with it, using each letter as the first letter of each word. After the countdown, everyone votes for their favourite. Adding up bonuses for speed and letter count, the winner is the first one to achieve 30 points. Plays from 3 to 10 players at a time. It’s really fun in groups. In any idle moment with friends, whip out the Barrel of Fun! It’s 150L, at Rubble’s Hobbies. barreloffun

PSOMM

Some time ago, I visited PSOMM, Olza Koenkamp’s little avatar shop, which packs a lot of creativity within its walls, with builds textured in a very unique way in SL. I have showed one of his avatars here. Olza, a.k.a. Piotr Kopik, is a polish artist in real life. He has also made avatars in the shape of human parts, also illustrated in his distinctive style, and that are free to procure, with which you can play around with friends to complete a whole being. See videos here, and here.
