Some delightful little knick-knacks from Katati Noel. Both clocks function on SL time, but the paper one is my favourite with its penciled hands that move with the minutes. I liked the outlet in Kowloon more, but the mainstore has the complimentary antique map of ‘The lost island of Nautilus’. Something I would have liked to grab also but couldn’t: the old letters…
Aah, one of my favourite furniture makers from very early on, Tara Tagore. I may not be doing justice to her whole range of creations, since what I’m featuring here had been purchased for my moroccan home back in summer 2007. There is tons more at her store, Melino Style, which is bursting at the seams with reproductions of furniture from many exotic places in the world, where she has been, globe-trotter that she is.

Well-made, well-textured and well-shadowed sofas and shelves. And lots of other things like oil lamps, rocking chairs, and shoes! I’m running out of words. It’s furniture for homes that duplicate real life, dammit. Though I sense a 50′s touch. Over here if you hadn’t heard of Primary or Atmosphere Works before.

A couple of knick-knacks from Usagui Noel, here. For some reason, I could just stare and stare at those armchairs… Incredible how the green velvet is almost palpable.
Nonna Hedges offers a large collection of very nicely crafted antique furniture for your 18th century interior. There are also scripted beds for the romantically-inclined, seamless textures of panelled or painted walls so that you can create a setting that will match, sculpted curtains, and so on and so forth… All at French Antiques.

The modern northern-african Muscat house at Scarlet Creative feels as open as it is also private, with its many labyrinthine rooms and corridors that are shielded only by blinds, which will still let the air and light flow freely. The layout of the house offers the ability to either spend additional time decorating and personalising the numerous sectionned spaces or to leave most of them bare, in the minimalistic spirit that the house was originally built in, using only the matching furniture provided for the house, being therefore equally as suitable for the interior design freak or the bachelor who wants a smart home right out of the box, with minimal effort involved.
