The past

Last week, I went around the back door of Dernier Cri, and asked designer Asuka Martin for a preview of her newest skin to be released, Charlotte. Here it is in the chestnut tone, and it’s cute ! She can be worn with or without freckles, and there are 5 sets of 3 make-ups each: Dawn, Island, Other, Scene and Valley. The lips differ slightly from one to the other, and I really loved their texture and soft, pouty shape. You just wanna stare at them, and I think it might be my favourite mouth at the moment.

2REAL Okelli is a new player who presented me with these sneakers today, and they got me immediately excited ! They’re awesome of realism and I love the late 80′s, early 90′s prints on the back of the shoes. There are ten different models to choose from and they’re scripted with a resizer. An eleventh pair is available that lets you tint the parts with a rudimentary HUD (no choice of prints, though). These are, I presume, 2REAL’s first creations in SL, and I look forward to seeing more ! For now, you can check out these babies here.

Spotted this adorable new top in the works by Julliette Westerburg and had to have it! It will become available at the mainstore during this week-end as a limited edition in green, as part of the new StumbleBum Brigade weekly event, and then later in regular colours. Also, recently released is this super cute dress, which comes in many colours and versions, at MNK !

Not showing much that is new here, but I happened to really like how my avatar looked, so much so that I rezzed a backdrop right where I was, while hanging out, and spontaneously made a post out of what I was wearing then and there, snapping myself while, erm, yeah, dancing. I’m not liking the pics as much as me in world, but here goes anyway. Sometimes it’s nice to do things just because you want to, and not think about whether people will care about it or find it useful !

And there you go, I’m grinning.

Whoooo, more pose love! I was bringing the finishing touches to a post when I had an inventory offer from Willa Whybrow for several packs of poses, and I liked them so much, I decided to re-do the shoot with them. There’s a lot more of them, and I’m sure I’ll be using them over and over again. They’re lovely, quirky and trendy and are retailed, I believe, at the “Waffles!” store.

I was at Cupcake the other day and I saw that Mimi Coral had put out her older creations from the “<3 Cupcake” days, back when she was a solo designer. I was always a sucker for those and always bought new ones each time I went. Now most of them are back, and all for 25L only! Rows and rows of beautiful, romantic, girly dresses. Some retro, some casual, but all beautifully textured and totally irresistible. ❤

Check these new hand-drawn glasses from DUBOO ! I love how fun and cute they are, and wearing them, I’m surprised at how they look great despite being alpha textures, like really not flat at all. Newreem Waffle made ten pairs, and these here were my favourite.

Also, Bubbles surprised me this early morning when I logged on with this adorable hairstyle which he made, and that I’d been secretly coveting since seeing this fantastic picture of his yesterday. I really do believe there is a chance that Bubbles may have been sensitive to the vibes my body sent continuously during my sleep ! Love Bubbles for making what is now my new favourite ponytail ! It has been compared to Audrey Hepburn, but it makes me think of a young Jeanne Moreau as well. Not released yet, but soon at Clawtooth by Clawtooth. ❤

Finally, I’m loving this cardigan dress which, for now, can be bought at Fishy Strawberry only in brown and only today. It’s really well drawn and looks soft and comfy and I can’t wait for the other colours in the full release !
