Still not wearing pants in this dark, edgy but casual look featuring the beautifully sculpted Vaider sneakers in black from Hoorenbeek and also this new comfy jacket from Surf co. (that is only 50L today).

I must have had a lapse of attention somewhere at some point because this new mens release that recently came out at LeLutka had not registered on my radar until the Eron skin was sent over to me the other day. Well, I’m very glad that it was ! So, a little bit afterwards, I went to the store and picked another tone for myself. I’m definitely feeling this skin and think I might very well make it my regular one for the time being. For starters, it’s right in the age bracket I like. The lips feel fresh and have the fullness of youth, but the eyes already betray countless sleepless hours (spent in front of a computer, maybe). And, I think I am quite close to completing my ideal look of an athletic, but unassuming boyish geek.

2REAL Okelli is a new player who presented me with these sneakers today, and they got me immediately excited ! They’re awesome of realism and I love the late 80′s, early 90′s prints on the back of the shoes. There are ten different models to choose from and they’re scripted with a resizer. An eleventh pair is available that lets you tint the parts with a rudimentary HUD (no choice of prints, though). These are, I presume, 2REAL’s first creations in SL, and I look forward to seeing more ! For now, you can check out these babies here.

Not just me, that is, Valiant too, and I am one happy son of a bitch.

Here’s another one of my grandpa looks, or normal guy, as you would have it, god knows some of you need it. I did not sweat over the outfit too much, literally this entire look cost me a whooping 5 Lindens. Granted, two of the items were old group gifts but you get the gist. The japanese creator behind JetCity, Jiru Jetcity, has everything in his little store for 0 to 2L, and it’s all no copy, so you can heap up and give away to your friends. I thank his existence just for making that cardigan. I could marry me.
The end.

I stood around kMadd a while the other day, and cammed in on this shop, Kal Rau. How come didn’t I know of it! True, it only does mens’ clothes, but they’re quality. I love, love it. Photosourced, but not harshly photorealistic, not emo, not rent boy sexy… perfection. The only other shop I’m aware of that does menswear like this is Redgrave, and I’m just over the moon at having stumbled by it. I know, small things.
Also, happened upon the news today that Coke Dreadlow from UBU had come out with canvas shoes and they’re awesome, as usual. A godsend with their customising menu at this time, even, because I’d been looking for some versatile everyday shoes that I could match easily, without having to buy a super expensive pack. So, yay, score, those are keepers.
