I had totally missed these freebies at Yonemaru. It’s all free, including the trees, the ashtrays, the flower beds with the tree supports and the vendor stands, except for the three plants at the bottom.

An ever-expanding directory of quality content in Second Life, for the Tasteful Shopper. We cover fashion, places to explore, avatars, furniture & prefabs, and other neat things to have or see, pretty much since the day before yesterday. All on the fly!

These awesome potted plants are 20L each only at the Albero plants and garden festival, there’s many more but these were my favourite (the four mini trees in the middle are actually free, too). The pear tree, duck tree and fish tree are from Aragane Nishi. I have never met him, but every time I see something made by him, I secretly swoon on the inside.

Oh and these old style suitcases are nyasyousa Oh’s prize for the upcoming Winter Choice Creators’ Stamp Rally ! And the shoes too, love them !

This bench here is 75L, no copy/no mod at ETD

These probably won’t be new to anyone who cares to stay in the loop, but that’s just how long it took me to go check out Annunziata Macchi’s skyboxes, at Molto bene. Shame on me ! My faves are the Loft and the Cape Cod skybox.

Finally… loving the textures on this by SALA Loon at SALA !

Yes, it’s September, and I’m posting pictures of pumpkins. I loathe the timing that makes me look as though I could care about Halloween, because I swear at the first mention I heard of a pumpkin a few days ago, I briefly mulled over the idea of not logging on SL until the thing was over. Anyway, this is only happening because I showed up at this place today, called New Trails, looking for the subscriber that had sent me a notice even though I had no memory of subscribing to it, or even coming near this place or having heard of the owner ever before, and ended up falling utterly under the charm of the place.
Straylight comes to mind, of course. New Trails is new to me and they have lots and lots of lovely trees, and many types of sculpted greenery for the ground that look very, very, very good (nothing like those alpha cylinders). All that’s for sale is grouped inside and around three cute greenhouses, but the rest of vitrail Illios’ sim is well worth a visit as well, even if you don’t need to buy anything, but just want to take a stroll or pictures. You can see some more I took in my “Explore” section, of some of my favourite views.

Planting Lunata Lupino‘s hand-painted flowers is like living inside the luscious illustrations of a fairy tale book, and looking at them up close is a delight that is not likely to wear off. I’ve had most of these for about two years and they still impress me every time I take them out !

Full perm sets of callas, lilies, and roses, including maps and textures, by Logan Bauer at Arctic Greenhouse.

Sculpted reefs, nicely baked terracotta planters and 1-prim plants by Tobias Novi at Tree house designs. The latter rely on the usual trick of alpha planes as at Heart Garden and most other landscaping stores except that the textures are applied to a cross shaped sculptie, thereby saving you prims and allowing you to create more full and lush landscaping. Reasonably priced and all sold mod/copy.

Tiny ambient prefabs at Miasnow, and other such things. Shown here: Afternoon Delight, Aqua Velvet (it’s an aquarium!) and Afternoon Inner Forest.

Be eaten! 399L, if I’m right, at E’ln (includes both an attachment and a decorative version).

The most realistically textured flowers I have seen to date, these callas are available in white, violet and yellow. Roses, myosotis and tulips can also be found at Gumi’s flower shop which seems to be in its budding stage.

Full perm set of Cherry Blossom Sculpts by Kala Bijoux – 450L on xstreet.com or shop in-world.
