Ole Times

So, I was just visiting Tatty Soup, where I had never been before, and camming out on their homestead I spotted this house and started snapping away. It’s really, really nicely decorated. The house and most of the furnishings are from POST by Van Auster, and everything else comes mostly from Kopi, Clutter, North West, iTuTu, LISP Bazaar, tram, Y’s House, nordari, Second Spaces, Picnic and Tatty Soup (love their rusty tub at the mainstore, by the way). Sorry for not listing exact credits of everything, but there’s quite a bit, plus you can teleport and check things out yourself anyway, at least as of this posting (of course there’s no knowing that this will all be there forever, BUT THAT’S LIFE). I guess also there’s not much point in blogging edited pictures of stuff; but I was looking to age or distress the pics a little bit and when I tried black and white, I just thought, this looks, woah… nice. Noir and just slightly moody. I wish the SL viewers had a feature to see everything in black and white with adjustable contrast, grain and sepia too.

This is a post I quickly put together on an impulse following the release of this attic skybox from Reek just today for FLF (it might already be gone, at least at that price already). Fourty-four prims in all and modifiable, it’s going to be my new hideout for now !

I’ve had many bits & bobs accumulating for months now because I’ve not really felt like doing a big décor post lately. But, enough ! I’ll at least air some of it out now, throw it together in a jumble even for just a snap or two, because I wanted to show this really, really pretty gift just out at Kari, for Christmas. Oh, and I apologise in advance for anymore gifts that may no longer be available…

Be-Bop-A-Lula

I’ve been looking forward to the opening of Lamb Bellic and Julliette Westerburg’s sim Lula for a long time (or Belmar as it was called then), ever since hearing that Turnip Sorbet was building a French village for them. It has been long in the making and so well worth the wait. I was excited for it, and the result goes way beyond my expectations ! So much attention to detail, down to the custom made fields, stone walls, shutters, etc…

Behind me and to my… right, is Kyoot’s Fifty Linden Friday’s adorable offering, the Silhouette Photo Tree, out today at Saeya Nyanda’s Home outlet ! Only a few hours left to pick it up for only 50L. In the middle, I’m sitting on a bench I made that will be a Home & Garden Hunt gift at my mainstore come August 1st, just a day away ! Nothing too fancy, just a bench I’d always been wanting to make.

Oh hey, I’ve moved my [North West] mainstore to a new, bigger location at Cheesecake ! I completed the build this week, it looks a bit big and empty, but I’ll work on filling it up, I promise ! In the meantime, and this couldn’t come up at a better time, I’m participating in this week’s Fifty Linden Friday — so stoked — and you can come check out my item below, already.

It’s a set containing a rug, table, chair, candle and a globe painted over to just leave out the word ‘LOVE’.

The rug is scripted and changes to six variations of stripes and colours. It’ll come copyable for FLF, although it’ll normally be sold no-copy.

And I set up shelves on the wall to the right of the entrance of the store with some cheap stuff you should check out ! I will keep adding more to it, though I don’t promise to do it fast.

Oh, and don’t forget to click on the update kiosk sign to join, it’s on the wall to the left. I sometimes send random free shit. Okay, I only did it once so far, but I can totally do it again ! Other than that, I’ll be so self-conscious about spamming you, you’ll probably only get an update notecard from me once every two months, anyways. ❤

This bitter earth

While working on my mainstore, I thought I’d make a little update post of sorts with some stuff I’ve made, and a few cute things I’ve collected in the past week in my inventory. Particularly this couch from ::POOKEA::, which comes in a bunch of colours, and whose shape and fabrics I love.

A friend was showing me the new skybox which she got from Rez, and going there for a slurl I saw they had a bunch of new stuff at the shop. As usual from Yuki Aabye, it’s all really well baked and also fairly low-prim. And I absolutely love the shed !

This adorable board is Annunziata Macchi’s gift for the Starlust Valentine’s Day hunt. It should be at her Molto Bene satellite there. You can drop your pictures inside the polaroids. Will definitely be used !

I had once blogged some very nice leather wrist straps that are permanent gifts from this store but I didn’t know that the designer, masomaso Quan, was also making super cute, really well textured shabby furniture as well. I love all the woods in this ! It all blends in really well and doesn’t look too “raw”.
