Holiday Sport Cruiser

Today featuring a very luxurious item by Brookston Holiday, the Sports Cruiser. The craftmanship here is beyond remarkable, and for all that you get, from an equipped kitchen to a spacious double sitting area as well as some cosily ensconced sleeping quarters, 3000L is a pretty affordable price tag. I think the pictures speak for themselves, but for a closer look, you can see the demo at HOLIDAYS MODERN YACHTS. Stunning work !

S2R1000 CC

I missed out on this when there was a lucky board for the bike in orange, but I can’t resist posting it because of how easy it is on the eye, and I can’t resist a good-looking picture. By sTwo Acker, at [s2].

Pro street cars

I believe Scholes Devin’s cars to be the best looking cars I have encountered on SL. There are about 25 models to choose from at “Pro cars“, and these are the ones that caught my eye on my first visit a few weeks ago.

Pro-cars-A

From top to bottom are “Elegance” in black, the most recent release, “Fuel” in green with black stripes, “Action Baja Buggy”, “Speed” in pink, “Demon” in orange, and “Eleanor” in black with gold stripes.

Pro-cars-B

Many of them are available as convertibles, with their top off or on, and are very convenient to use, whether you mean to drive them or use them as decorative props.

Pro-cars-G

First off, as you may know, the maximum number of prims any vehicle is allowed to have that you can drive is 32, and any other additional prims there are, you have to wear as an attachment. So what I liked immediately was that when you hop on, you automatically get a blue menu message asking  if you would like to wear the attachment, and you simply have to click “OK”, so you don’t have to fumble around in your inventory, looking for the appropriate attachment to wear. Because, lazy butt that I am, that is something that has put me off from using some of the other vehicles that I have owned.

Pro-cars-D

On the other hand, when you simply want to use the car as a prop, you just need to click on it and tell it to rez the additional details, although you can also leave them out if you’re short on prims.

Pro-cars-E

The cars are overall a breeze to use, with an accompanying HUD that offers a couple of options such as “Drift” or “Race”. Although I must admit I was mostly thrilled just to look at the cars, admiring their lines and body details. Especially Eleanor, which deserved three views of her own, and that I kind of am infatuated with !

Pro-cars-F

Prices range from 500 to about 3000L, and the cars are no mod/no transfer, if I recall. There is a lucky board with a basic car in it too, if you’re willing to camp for it, so that you can take it for a free test run before choosing your own model.

AOBA

I have not personally tried any of these cars by komapyon Forder so I cannot say anything about their usability since I do not have lindens to drop into a virtual car (I am, I was told, a ridiculous e-driver anyway), and nor do I have the patience to request for a review copy. So let me just blog them, and you can check them out for yourself if you want. They do, however, look good, and, judging by the amount of work that obviously went on them, I would expect these to work no less than decently. Should you buy one after seeing this post and be disappointed, though, I welcome you to yell at me (by mail, I prefer, not in person). They’re not expensive anyway, I observed a price range of 800-1500L on average. There are many more models to see at AOBU, so, shoo, shoo!

The Hick Chick

The-Hick-ChickSuper cute bike with flowers painted on the seat and perfect animations, by flopsie McArdle, at SMERSH. It’s called the Hick Chick, comes with two ramps and pedal attachments. Pretty much the only bike I bought was two years ago, it was a tricycle and the animation was just too awkward. Now this is the bike for me !

This 1964 AM Pro Impala is a collab between Pro Rides and Aitui. Built by AM Pro. Paintjob by Aitui. Drivable. Interactive.

1000L, sold at Aitui.

Free scooter @ 19

19scooterFree at [19MC]. This japanese shop has amazingly well done more or less bike-related stuff. Also, look around the sim for other high quality buys, if you’re looking for zen or traditionnal japanese decorative props.

Free at Kurenai Motors

kurenai-motors1I got these a while ago, and to this day both models can still be found in the lucky chairs at Kurenai Motors. They’re color-changeable, drive very easily on land and water, and are just cute and well-made all-around. There are a few other freebies in the store, as well as other motorbikes and a motorised ‘kickboard’ in a similar style.
