Delicious, delicious mid-century reproductions, I am teased by this walnut cabinet and sideboard from Kohi. No way to know for now if there’s more of this as the two picks listed in Leonard Sloane’s profile lead to vacated parcels, but I will be intent on following up on those two finds. In addition to the style and period, I love their accuracy and authenticity and the balanced realism of the texturing is just spot on.

I finally bothered to show up at Meriken in person, and splurged. Oh my. There was such a selection of beautifully textured suits and pants, my head reeled from the variety and I’m still unsure whether I got all that I wanted. Apart from the retro tweeds and hunting suits, there are also some funky 70′s pants, shirts and jackets. Most of the pieces shown here were, I think, mostly intended for men but look fine on me, I’d say, and there is a small section for women with some cute half-pants in similar materials as well.
